Macross Frontier ~Itsuwari no Utahime~ Released!

It’s finally released! This is a project done by various members of Rave-Anime.com and a project that we’re all very proud of.

Release info: So how is our release different from the others? Our selling point is the script. We used /m/subs as a base, but we have heavily, heavily modified the script. Changes include retranslations of some lines as well as major and minor editing to both the main dialogue and the song lyrics.

As a bonus, you also have karaoke with effects brought to you by Firebird and Seto_Sun which I’m sure some of you will enjoy. The release also includes 4 tracks which are as follows:

1) Honorifics with karaoke

2) No honorifics with karaoke

3) Honorifics without karaoke

4) No honorifics without karaoke

And then of course, we have 2 versions: 720p BD and 480p DVD. Why no 1080p? It’s under consideration, but we feel that THORA will probably have this covered. However, depending on the response to this release, we might release a 1080p. If you really, really want one from Seto, I would suggest you post here, at Hiryuu, or at Shimeji showing your support!

Regardless, k-timing all those songs is no easy feat, and it’s something that you should be proud of, Firebird. Also, feel free to rant and ramble away anytime and anywhere. Hats off to you!

Harth: Main Dialogue TLC, Editor. So Firebird and I pretty much had the same reaction when we saw just how many lines this movie was: HOLYSH-. But still, we got through it, and the product is something I’m quite satisfied with.

HRZ: Distro. You just have access to great internet speed, what else did you do!? NOTHING! Nah, just kidding. Always fun to strike up a conversation with you and thanks for helping us get the release out there.

ONC: Song TLC. Some of you may know ONC from Tamashii (http://tamshii.xdat.us/), but I mostly know him as a member of RA. You’re always great to work with, and you always have great insight. I know you’ve been busy with your exams but a big thanks from all of us for helping out. It was and is greatly appreciated. It’s always my pleasure to work with you, and good luck on your exams!

Seto_Sun: Encoder (720p), QC, and more! Most of you probably already know Seto from Seto Otaku and his great releases, some of which you can check out at anirena (http://www.anirena.com/standalone.php?groupid=760). Seto’s the one who first expressed interest in doing the movie and gathered us all up for it, so without him, there would be no release! You all know the quality of Seto’s releases, and you can expect no less from this one as well. In one word Seto, you are AWESOME!

Solva: Encoder (DVD). You can check out her group’s releases at her blog (http://shimeji-subs.blogspot.com/). She also… uhh… encoded the DVD. Did I mention she encoded the DVD? But jokes aside, Solva is an interesting character. You’ll know it when you talk to her. So for you 480p viewers, go check out her blog and give her whatever she wants. Your life depends on it.

spectre: Distro. Spec, spec, spec, spec, spec. Glad to see that Fallout hasn’t ripped you away from the awesomeness that is RA. Again, thanks for helping us distro, and I bid you good luck in challenging Skynet.
