First off, these are not the Fabula Nova Dramatica Alpha/Omega drama CDs. This particular one only partially adapts the first chapter, Encounter, of Episode Zero: Promise. For those who don’t know about Episode Zero: Promise, it’s basically a prequel for FFXIII in web novel format. Anyway, this was short and fun to do, so here it is.
Some notes:
- Chapter 1: English version of FFXIII has NORA standing for No Rules, Obligation, or Authority, but in the Japanese version, the name stems from the word “noraneko,” which means stray cat. I had honestly no idea how to achieve some kind of clever translation for this, so here’s your TL note.
- Chapter 5: The woman and boy in the background browsing through chocobos are Hope and his mother.
- Chapter 6: Fang and Vanille (her Japanese VA sounds much, MUCH less annoying than her English counterpart)!
