Sorry about the delay; some unexpected things came up while I was working on this and pushed the batch workload back. In any case, not that many changes, but a major one was the font size reduction in the EX specials. You can find patches for the specials in I also slightly renamed the 1080ps, but the source is still Zero-Raws. I’ve included the subbed music videos as well. Some notes about those:
- Simple english and romaji lyrics with simple fade effects. K-timing with kfx is not worth my time.
- These are my original translations. I was not satisfied with the lyrics at gendou and the ones from Commie, especially since the first song I did was “Calling,” and both sources missed the nice hitori/futaribocchi pun.
- The only song I couldn’t find official J-lyrics on was “Joey and Heroman.” The lyrics I put are the engrish ones I heard. There are a couple lines that only make sense if you think about it, but I didn’t find much reason to make an alternate script for three or so mediocre lines while the rest of the lyrics are good.
- “Boku no Te wa Kimi no Tame ni” translates to “My Hands For You/My Hands Are For Your Sake,” but I opted to keep the original Japanese name (if available) like I do on most of my releases. This is also my favorite Heroman song and the entire reason behind why I did these music videos.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these as much as I have. Now for the release!
EDIT: For any of those wondering, EX-2 patch is a v2 to v3 patch; v2 was released earlier due to a v2 from the source.

The steps involved in releasing BD versions are too consuming (especially bandwidth) and too much of a hassle, so you might want to try the regular BD groups for this.
Quite frankly, I harthly think Heroman was worth the effort.

I really hope Seto’s ok. But one question… Will you sub the Valkyria Chronicles 3 OVA’s? since you did a great job on the VC1 SP’s.
I’m still undecided on this as I originally told Seto I’d watch them first and see. If anything, I might ask Hiryuu to do these with me.
EDIT: I’ve been made aware that a competent translator has already completed the OVA 1 TL a while back, so I’ll probably keep my hands off of this in favor of clearing my backlog.
I watched the specials and at the end of EX-3 it said “Continued”. Are there more specials or was that just to make you anticipate another series of Heroman?
I had hoped that volume 9 would have something, but it was just another music video, so the “Continued” was either false or as you said, something to make you anticipate.
If anyone is wondering where my other projects are at, they’re delayed, and I’ll explain why in the next release.
